After living in the Cleveland area his entire life, Jeremy Borger bought a condo in downtown's Warehouse District in 2006. Since then, he has been blogging and tweeting about downtown Cleveland, especially in the areas of downtown living, the best places to eat and drink and downtown development projects.
Jeremy knows that a strong downtown isn't just important for Cleveland, but for the entire region. Having a strong, vibrant downtown is important to making sure college graduates stay in the area and is also critical for attracting new businesses. The trend of bulldozing farms and forests as we move father and farther from our urban core is not sustainable for the future.
But many of those who have grown up here don't know what Cleveland and downtown has to offer. That's why Jeremy knows it's important to get the word out and that's why he's proud to be a City Advocate for the Downtown Cleveland Alliance.
Jeremy is a graduate of Baldwin-Wallace College and currently works for an Internet marketing company.
