The 8th Annual Sparx City Hop is only 10 days away! On September 11th, from 11:00am - 11:00pm, Cleveland’s Down & Aroundtown neighborhoods will come alive with free concerts, restaurants specials, open galleries, vibrant art studios, festivals and so much more. Before all the excitement begins on Saturday though, PlayhouseSquare is helping kickoff the weekend of Sparx City Hop with their annual Block Party & Tour extravaganza on Friday, September 10th!

Summer Excitement at PlayhouseSquare

Starting today, June 2, through September 17th, the PlayhouseSquare District will be jumping with activity outdoors on Star Plaza and inside the PlayhouseSquare theaters as PlayhouseSquare and the PlayhouseSquare District Development Corporation (PDDC) work together to introduce a new program called “Summer Excitement at PlayhouseSquare”.
The summer long program will feature a variety of outdoor lunchtime events for area workers, free after work concerts, Broadway engagements such as The Phantom of the Opera, a classic film series and even morning T’ai Chi Chih.

Downtown Cleveland business Richard Fleischman + Partners Architects, Inc. (designers of the 515 Euclid garage, the Ohio Aerospace Institute and the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport’s canopies) has signed a lease for the attractive first floor and lower level spaces of the Osborn Building located at 1020 Huron Road just west of Star Plaza. The move will be a short one, just across Huron Rd.
