The Cleveland Marathon is quickly approaching (May 16th). It is time to get in shape! The event is a signature event for the city of Cleveland and this year’s race route will do much to showcase some of the city’s great up and coming neighborhoods.
Each year, the American Cancer Society’s DetermiNation program raises money for research to find the cure for cancer. Runners that participate in the Cleveland Marathon have the opportunity to not just run a major race, but to make a lasting impact in fighting cancer by registering to be a part of the 2010 American Cancer Society DetermiNation Cleveland.
DetermiNation Cleveland Networking Event
On Tuesday, March 2nd (6:00 - 8:00pm) there will be a networking event at the Winking Lizard Independence (6901 Rockside Rd….typically we don’t promote events outside downtown, but this is a good cause and for a signature event for our region). This event will be an opportunity to network with fellow runners and learn more about DetermiNation Cleveland.
There will be free food and drink specials. This is your opportunity to find out answers about the program and sign up for Cleveland’s 2010 DetermiNation program. DetermiNation is the fully supported training program to prepare you for the 2010 Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon while contributing to the fight against cancer.
