In an effort to help promote less tossing of cigarette butts onto the ground on Euclid, our showcase downtown avenue, I have promoted the re-use/recycling of old ash cans that used to be used at the Galleria, in collaboration with a couple partners employed at the Galleria. Thanks to their help with this idea, it is a reality!
The cans have been completely cleaned to like new condition and then beautifully and artistically repainted through the works of artists at Artist Review Today at the Galleria! They can be placed along walks, but not near doors of businesses, as the intent is to not encourage smoking by doors.
The real intent of the cans is to simply help reduce any littering, as is the purpose of a trash/recycling can. These colorful cans, each with sublime and quirky messages, are available NOW! If anyone knows of any businesses that would like to have one, please contact me.
